The conference is designed to stimulate self-examination of one's values and philosophies in ethical decision making and to focus on guiding principles from recent court cases involving cyberspace, case notes, child abuse, sexually active students, and suicide. The conference will also address the recent standard of care and help examine your own practice and procedures to ensure you meet the necessary standards. Learn about the ASCA Ethical Standards for School Counselors, federal and state laws, and court rulings as applied to the school counseling profession.
