Managing Anxiety in a School Setting: From Avoidance to Action

Keynote Speaker Lynn Lyons, LICSW

Lynn Lyons is a psychotherapist, author and speaker who lives in Concord, New Hampshire and is in private practice there. For 26 years, Lynn has specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adults and children with a special interest in breaking the generational cycle of worry in families.

Paula Stewart and colleagues from Keene State College will be presenting information on promoting resiliency in schools. Both presentations speak to issues school counselors and student support staff face on a daily basis. The topics covered in this year’s conference apply to teachers, administrators, school nurses, and student support services as well as school counselors.
