5:10-5:30 - Small group discussions: How can school counselors better support students and families coping with mental illness? 

Hon. John Broderick, former NH Chief Supreme Court Justice and former UNH Law Dean speaks about lived experience with mental illness in his family and asks our help to engage our communities in knowing the 5 signs of emotional suffering. 

Dellie Champagne  ~an educator who has taught preschool, middle school, college, and now works facilitating trainings for judges ~ is another active member of the Campaign to Change Direction. Mrs. Champagne and Justice Broderick will share their stories and ask us to discuss how school counselors can better support students and families coping with a mental illness.
