Trauma/Suicide Connection: A Suicide Prevention

Workshop for Practitioners

HAVEN is excited to invite you join us at Alnoba www.alnoba.org on November 3^rd for a day-long conference exploring the relationship between trauma and suicide risk. This workshop is ideal for mental health practitioners, behavioral health professionals, school counselors, family support specialists, medical providers and more. Participants will gain practical skills for identifying and responding to warning signs of suicide. Additionally, presenters will discuss the impact that trauma has on the brains and bodies of individuals, how to recognize trauma as a risk factor for suicide, and how to implement a trauma informed approach to working with clients. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  (6 CEUs Available from NHPA and NASW-NH)
