Destination College

Destination College registration is now open! Please remind students that both the student and the parent need to register for the workshops. The event will take place on April 7, 2018 at Southern New Hampshire University.
a. We are looking for volunteers for “check-in” – and stay all day if you would like to see what the day is all about so you can share with your students and families. Volunteers will greet families, hand out registration materials and steer families to the opening session. Check in will begin bright and early (!) at 7:00am and run through approximately 9am. All volunteers will receive a cool new t-shirt and our undying appreciation! J Please send an email to Karen Collins at kcollins@gsmr.org if you are interested in joining us in your spiffy new shirt!
b. DC Speech Contest entries due 2/23/18 – encourage your high school seniors to submit their 3-5 minute speeches sharing their advice to high school juniors about the college admissions process at destinationcollege.org.
