The ACT® test is the nation’s most popular college entrance exam accepted and valued by all universities and colleges in the United States. On Friday, March 16, 2018, join ACT staff as they conduct a workshop looking at how ACT solutions can benefit New Hampshire students and schools.
From 10 a.m. to 12 noon, we invite school counselors and curriculum developers for grades 6 – 12 to join us to review the ACT Test, test preparation resources for students including OpenEd, a FREE “smart library” with access to the largest online instructional platform for K-12 educators, the PreACT Test, and ACT Tessera, ACT’s new assessment designed to help K-12 educators measure and evaluate 6-12th grade students’ SEL skills, while determining their strengths and areas for improvement, and identifying interventions to help them succeed. ACT Profile, the company’s free college and career planning assessment tool, will also be discussed.
At 12:30 p.m., we encourage Career & Technical Educators (CTE) to join the conversation as we move to a review of ACT’s WorkKeys® Suite, a comprehensive program that aligns, builds and certifies the skills needed for workplace success.
Lunch is provided and will be served at 12 noon (CTE staff are welcome to join us for lunch)
