The 2019 Lives in the Balance Annual Summit -- with the theme Diversity and Collaboration Come Together -- will be held on November 15th in Portland, Maine, and features keynote speakers Dr. Bettina Love -- Associate Professor of Educational Theory & Practice at the University of Georgia and the author of the recently-released book, We Want To Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom -- and Charity Bell. The day will also feature breakout groups on Collaborative & Proactive Solutions for parents, educators, and clinicians. Registration is now open!
