Are schools successfully serving society’s most troubled Juveniles? Juveniles in the 21st century have become more troubled and sometimes more dangerous. Sex offenders, fire starters, conduct and oppositional disorders, petty and violent criminals, sex workers are all part of the middle and high school environment. Participants will receive specific ways to recognize and intervene effectively within a classroom environment with this challenging population. Understanding and navigating the juvenile justice system is a challenge for educators. A simplified process for understanding will be highlighted. Dr. Lebrun will present ideas from his newly released book, Rebels in Society.

Cost : $150 covers all materials, breakfast and lunch
