  • 03 Apr 2014
  • 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Online
Sponsored by UNH Professional Development and Training

Cost: $95  To register:

This hour-long webinar will be an opportunity for participants to address questions to the instructor so there can be a real-world discussion about bullying in schools. The Q&A will be divided into five related topics, selected from evidence-based research, to be used as a guide to generate questions and seek solutions. You are invited to bring your concerns about bullying to the webinar; the instructor and participants will co-create critical responses and real-life solutions. The Q&A will be divided into these five areas:

  1. How to begin addressing concerns about bullying in a school; and exploring how to organize an initial “Bully Review Committee” in a school;
  2. Data collection, Adjudication and Bully Courts: Developing systematic methods of finding out about bullying and bringing it into public view;
  3. How to muster control and administrative authority to impose programming on bully offenders; re-education and rehabilitation;
  4. Logical consequences, learning new skills and exploring novel approaches to human interaction; and
  5. School policies that foster unity: maintain teams, learning about cultures and families, building bonds.

You will need a computer and web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc. to log into the live online workshop.)
